Something Yellow is Challenging You to Leave Your Mark!
During September, National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, The Kevin Cordasco Foundation: Something Yellow challenges you to leave a yellow/gold mark with your hand. Our goal is to bring awareness to the fact that childhood cancer receives less than 5% of US funding for all cancers. The 5 fingers represent the 5% and why we need to do more.
By imprinting your hand on an object, you will leave your mark and help spread the message of childhood cancer awareness. We encourage you to challenge 5 of your friends to do the same.
Here is what you need to do:
1. Using yellow/gold, the color of childhood cancer, make an impression of your hand by painting, tracing, photographing or by using any other creative method you can come up with to leave your mark and post it for the world to see.
2. Some ideas for objects may include, but are not limited to, a t-shirt, poster board, photo’s in front of interesting places or monuments, a plate, a mirror, the sidewalk or wherever you think people will see your mark. Please do not vandalize or destroy anything, remember this is for a good cause.
3. Post it on either Facebook or Instagram and challenge 5 friends to leave their mark in support of childhood cancer.
4. Hash tag us at #LeaveYourMark, #somethingyellow, #childhoodcancer
Thank you for your support and Honoring the Heroes of Childhood Cancer.
